About the role

Your schedule:

During the 3 month training period your schedule will be 35 hours/week:

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the first 2 months
  • then Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the last month.
  • This training will be full time in Laval offices.

After training you'll have an evening schedule with 40 hours/week:

  • Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with one Saturday out of 4 in rotation.
  • As a bonus, all of your evening shifts will be enhanced with an evening premium.

At belairdirect, you will benefit from a hybrid work model that will allow you to reconcile work and family and you will be based in our Montreal office (2020 blvd Robert-Bourassa).

Start date:January 26th, 2026.

What you'll do here:

  • Play a key role in ensuring the best possible protection of our customers' most valuable assets by advising them to make informed choices and answering their product questions and advising on next steps.
  • Analyze customer needs, promote products and services and propose innovative choices and solutions.
  • Guide auto and home customers on insurance solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and support of new initiatives.

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • A real team player, that can collaborate with colleagues on various projects, but also comfortable to work independently.
  • A natural communicator and understand how to listen and empathize with others.
  • [Bilingual (French and English)] - Need to process claims files from English-speaking clients on a regular basis.
  • Customer-driven and eager to your developed advisory skills to help customers.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
  • Excellent computer skills and can juggle between different computer at the same time.
  • Willingness to complete the provincial exam to obtain your insurance license.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Please note that this is an inbound call centre position, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with working evenings, Saturdays and occasional Statutory holidays.

In Quebec, our agents must pass their AMF certification to practice the profession. To be considered for our training course, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • You have obtained a College Diploma, a Bachelor or a Master's degree; OR
  • You have obtained an Attestation of Collegial Studies in Damage Insurance; OR
  • You hold a Secondary Diploma AND have 3 years of full-time experience in the Canadian job market;
  • If your diplomas were obtained outside Canada, you will be asked for an equivalence of these diplomas.
