Bilingual Order Desk Associate (English and French required)

Introduction

Our client is seeking a bilingual Order Desk Associate to join their team in Montreal, QC. This role is perfect for someone who values structure, consistency, and great customer service. Fluency in both English and French is required.

What You'll Do

You will be the first point of contact for internal and external customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely service. Your role will involve processing requests, handling inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to meet service standards.

Responsibilities


• Handle customer orders and inquiries with care and efficiency


• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, including sales, inventory, and production


• Use B-track / POS systems effectively


• Maintain organized records and follow proper inventory control procedures


• Ensure a clean and professional order desk environment


• Assist with general store operations as needed

Qualifications


• Fluency in both English and French


• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Solid computer skills, including point-of-sale systems


• Product knowledge in paint or coatings is a plus


• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly


• Comfortable working independently and within a team
