We are now looking to welcome an experienced
Senior Sous Chef
to join our kitchen leadership team as we continue to grow and refine our operations at this location.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site
Senior Sous Chef
role at our Richmond St. location in Toronto. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to manage and elevate daily kitchen operations in a high-standard, intimate setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in overseeing all kitchen operations and service execution
  • Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
  • Planning and organizing daily prep and service workflows
  • Supervising and supporting kitchen staff during service
  • Managing inventory, ordering, and minimizing food waste
  • Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
  • Assisting in menu development and seasonal specials
  • Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Supporting smooth service flow in our 25–30 seat dining room

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in food preparation, menu development, and plating
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Solid understanding of food safety, kitchen operations, and cost control
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with experience across diverse cuisines
  • Culinary degree or professional certification preferred
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen
