The Speech Space is a private practice providing in-home visits in Durham Region and virtual appointments to clients across Ontario.

As part of The Speech Space team:

  • You will have flexibility and autonomy, but clinical support is regularly available to you
  • You will be compensated for travel time in addition to the session rate for in-home visits
  • You will have access to the Jane app, an electronic record keeping and scheduling system

Job Description:

  • Job type: Independent contractor
  • Workload: Minimum 7 clients per week with potential to increase caseload size as desired
  • Appointment types: In-home preferred, virtual available
  • Hours: days, evenings, weekends if desired
  • Location: Durham Region (mainly Bowmanville, Oshawa, Whitby, Brooklin)
  • Client population: preschool, school-age and high school; speech sound disorders, early language, ASD
  • Experience and/or interest in literacy is a bonus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $72.00 per hour
