Agilus is recruiting for an
Accounting Coordinator
in the
post-secondary sector
in
Calgary, Alberta.
We're actively working with our client to hire for their accounting team. They're looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their team for a short term contract.

What's In It For You

  • Duration: 4 to 6 weeks depending on workload
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35hours per week. 2 days remote, 3 days in-office. 8am-4pm
  • Pay Rate Range: $30 - $40/hour
  • Weekly payroll

Responsibilities

  • Receiving procurement statements, coding, authorizations, journal entries
  • Following up on missing statements
  • Reviewing general ledger allocations and updating the contract database
  • Capital asset management and inventory accounting
  • Reviewing vendor data
  • Financial reporting
  • Reconciliations, balance sheets, income statements
  • Assist with AP duties when needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in accounting
  • Post-secondary completion in accounting/finance
  • Experience with AP, capital assets, general ledger, and inventory accounting
  • Fluent with Sage
