THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for accounts payable invoice and payment processing together with effective vendor management. Primarily remote work with weekly visits to the site office for work so must have transportation to and from location.
DURATION
: 3-month contract
Duties And Responsibilities
- Accounts payable, invoice and employee expenses processing for payment
- Vendor management
- Running weekly CAD/USD Payment Runs
- Reconciliation and Reporting
- Month end duties, initiatives and Ad hoc projects as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-7 years of work experience in full cycle accounts payable with experience using ERP/ accounting software
- IFS ERP knowledge is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, E-mail)
- Strong customer focus mindset for both internal and external customers
- Extensive knowledge and training in Accounts Payable
- Need a good understanding and must keep current on accounting practices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
