Job Title: Aftermarket Parts Lead
Company: ODRA Road Sweepers
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Reports To: Sr. Corporate Manager
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
About ODRA Road Sweepers
ODRA Road Sweepers is a fast-growing manufacturer of chassis-mounted mechanical street sweepers, known for performance, simplicity, and reliability. With operations in Canada and the U.S. and expanding into global markets including the Middle East and Africa, ODRA is scaling its aftermarket parts business to meet growing demand and strengthen its market position.
Position Overview
At ODRA, you won't inherit a playbook — you'll help write it. This role suits someone who thrives in a high-ownership, entrepreneurial environment where initiative, creativity, and hands-on execution shape real business outcomes.
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful individual to build and lead ODRA's aftermarket parts ecosystem. This role blends strategic sourcing, supplier development, margin analysis, and customer insight to identify, validate, and deliver high-demand components that support our customers and dealer network.
You'll work closely with engineering, sales, and operations to create a structured aftermarket program, coordinate replication and sourcing efforts, and help shape the future of ODRA's aftermarket strategy.
This is a builder role — ideal for someone who thrives in free-form environments and enjoys turning field insight into commercial success.
We value people who get out of the office, walk the shop floor, visit customers, and solve problems hands-on. If you prefer a corporate procurement desk, this isn't the place. If you love taking ownership, talking to mechanics, building supplier relationships, and making things happen — join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry Research: Stay informed on product trends, service parts availability, and customer needs across the street sweeper market.
- Parts Identification & Sourcing: Locate and acquire high-demand components through supplier networks, customer feedback, and field visits.
- Engineering Collaboration: Coordinate with ODRA's engineering team to validate and replicate parts for aftermarket use.
- Customer & Dealer Engagement: Build relationships with contractors and dealers to understand pain points and identify sourcing opportunities.
- Field Work & Travel: Visit customer sites and suppliers to gather insights and facilitate parts acquisition.
- Inventory & Supply Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of sourced parts and maintain alignment with inventory and logistics teams.
- Reporting & Documentation: Track parts performance, sourcing outcomes, and market developments.
- Feedback System: Build a structured dealer and contractor feedback pipeline to identify recurring parts needs, price expectations, and service challenges.
- Supplier Management: Conduct supplier qualification and compliance checks, negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Commercial Support: Support pricing, margin targeting, and demand forecasting for new aftermarket SKUs.
- Aftermarket Sales Enablement: Provide product data and materials for dealer sales and training.
- Warranty & Service Integration: Gather field data and feed insights back into product and engineering teams to improve reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience in aftermarket parts, procurement, or sales in industrial, automotive or heavy equipment sectors.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust and rapport quickly with both engineers and field technicians.
- Technically curious and comfortable reading technical drawings, spec sheets, and mechanical diagrams.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Skilled negotiator and problem-solver with strong supplier management and cost analysis ability.
- Comfortable with travel and field-based work.
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM and Excel-based analytics for tracking supplier, cost, and performance metrics.
- Ethical and professional; committed to responsible business practices.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with dealer networks or in product support roles.
- Familiarity with mechanical assemblies (hydraulics, drive systems, bearings, pumps, PTOs, belts) or street sweepers.
- Background in technical sales, service engineering, or field operations.
- Experience in startup, scale-up, or fast-growing environments preferred.
- Willingness to learn from ODRA's internal experts and grow into a leadership role shaping aftermarket strategy.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary based on skills and experience, with performance-based incentives.
- Potential for commission tied to parts sales growth.
- Travel expenses covered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
