*** Responsibility for leadership of the team to manage and execute the supply of parts through the work order process. This role will be responsible for working closely with the Category Leads in determining the make/buy decisions on parts based on our core competencies and NFI Parts strategy to ensure best total cost, efficiency and Customer satisfaction. **WHAT YOU WILL DO**: - Responsible for leading all aspects of the assembly/work order support process, including but not limited to managing bills of materials, coordination of make/buy decisions and management of bench assembly and kitting resources. - Works closely with Category Leads and Business Development to identify new business opportunities. - Assumes primary accountability for delivering results through assembly/manufacturing goals and targets. - Leads the Assembly team in development, monitoring, and reporting of KPI’s related to efficiency. - Implements process improvements and workflow related to BOM creation, Routing reviews, Work Order Process/Flow and Assembly capacity in the Bench areas. - Works with PDC Managers to ensure capacity and workflow in kitting areas to meet customer service expectations. - Responsible for developing strategy plans including capital expenditures for equipment and resource planning. - Provides leadership, performance management, coaching, and establishing performance targets. - Work closely with supporting departments (Inventory Planning, Traffic & Customs, and Warehouse Operations) to ensure optimal service levels and Supply Chain performance. - Assist in Bill of Material creation and revisions. - Other duties as assigned "Travel is required for this position" **WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**: - Post-secondary education in Manufacturing Management and/or Purchasing - 3 - 5 years Purchasing and Negotiation experience in a lead role - Manufacturing Planning experience - Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
