Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, guest relations, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and order flow
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving processes
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces throughout shifts
  • Provide guest services that promote a welcoming atmosphere and address guest needs promptly

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable, especially with restaurant experience or in the food industry
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with cashiering, basic math for billing, and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and guest relations in a fast-paced environment
  • Kitchen or food preparation experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
