Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a new restaurant . As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. Your ability to manage time effectively, communicate with guests, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
  • Provide detailed menu information and recommend items to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
