Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful hairstyles and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your creativity while building strong client relationships in a welcoming environment. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and contributing to the overall client experience.

Duties

  • Provide professional hair styling services including Men's, Women's and Kids Hair cuts, Hair color, Hair treatments, styling, blowdry, Perm, Eyebrows according to client preferences
  • Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Upsell retail hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and answering inquiries
  • Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Stay current on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures
  • Ability to upsell products and retail sales confidently
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences
  • Experience managing front desk operations is a plus but not required
  • A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
