Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients.

Duties

  • Provide a range of hair services form Men, Woman and Kids, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional advice on hair care and styling options.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
  • Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance the client's hair care routine and promote upselling opportunities.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with innovative solutions.
  • Foster a positive environment by building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit.

Requirements

  • Valid Hairdressing license or certification as required by Ontario.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with retail sales techniques and experience in upselling products is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation protocols diligently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must have relevant job experience in Canada

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Hairdressing : 3 years (preferred)
  • Men cut: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Skills Trade Hairdressing License (preferred)
