Job Title: Dishwasher / Kitchen HelperPosition Summary

We are hiring a fast, detail-oriented Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper who takes cleaning seriously and performs exceptionally well in a high-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. This role is essential to maintaining kitchen flow, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Sanitation

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and utensils quickly, thoroughly, and consistently
  • Maintain a constant supply of clean dishes during busy service
  • Properly operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Ensure all items are fully sanitized, grease-free, and spotless

Cleaning & Organization

  • Keep dish area, kitchen floors, drains, and work surfaces extremely clean at all times
  • Deep clean dish station, sinks, racks, walls, and equipment as required
  • Remove garbage and recycling promptly and clean bins regularly
  • Maintain organized storage of clean dishes and equipment

Kitchen Support

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks when needed
  • Refill cleaning chemicals and supplies; report low inventory
  • Support the team during rush periods without slowing kitchen flow

Health & Safety

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Maintain a dry, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent cleaning skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work very fast without sacrificing cleanliness
  • Comfortable in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong sense of urgency and pride in keeping things spotless
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-focused

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
