Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while supporting kitchen staff with cleaning and basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
  • Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out garbage
  • Organize and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Support cooks and kitchen team members during busy service periods
  • Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Assist with additional back-of-house duties as required

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
  • Willingness to help and work as part of a team
