Job Description
Aramark Canada is looking for a person who has a true passion for food and loves exploring/experimenting with new cuisines to join our dining team. Marketing Manager
role
In this role, you will be working closely with our onsite food service operations team and Corporate Marketing team to help bring our client?s vision and mission to life. The Marketing Manager is a champion, guardian, advocate, and ambassador of the food brand.
Collaboratively with the key stakeholders, you will plan, coordinate, organize and execute all communication initiatives, including both proactive and reactive communication to bring the culinary brand to life. You will provide support on all local engagement activities, both partner and consumer facing, including but not limited to written and verbal communication, events, learning programs and community events.
You will use your skills to develop promotional material, enhance our brand and inform our customers about the innovative and quality products that our team has to offer. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for executing initiatives across different platforms and handling several diverse projects.
Job Responsibilities
A glimpse at some of the exciting tasks you will lead and do:
- Support the operations team in executing innovation that drives positive customer and client experiences
- Lead the development of creative customer presentations, centering all marketing efforts to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
- Coordinating engagement activities showcasing new products and programs
- Lead the sales growth and marketing campaigns for mutli-site gift card and loyalty program
- Interacting directly with the multi-site operations team to identify new marketing opportunities by category
- Recommend actions, plan projects, estimate costs and manage projects to completion
- Manage website content, enhancements, and further development
- Provide and execute market research, campaign results and consumer trends and put together action plans to further strengthen our dining services program.
- Support the development, implementation, and execution of the corporate brand strategy
- Design and manage location specific communications such as traditional print, digital and social marketing campaigns; measure the effectiveness and sales data for each initiative
- Support multi-site catering programs working directly with the operations team to create consistency and elevate the programing using brand standards
- Drive innovation via technology providing strategic marketing plan as well as implementation support for multiple platforms such as digital screens, mobile applications, and robotics
- Build and maintain key core relationships with clients, partners, and local communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
- No previous job experience necessary just a proven knowledge of all social media platforms and passion for food. We need a FOODIE
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An eye for design and branding
- Strong research, project management and analytical skills
- Content creation experience (blogs, press releases, internal communication, social media posts)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- Excellent project management skills with a proactive approach to all projects
- Self-directed with strong organization and time management with the ability to organize work and set priorities
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of technical troubleshooting and the ability to collaborate with IT teams to resolve any operational tech issues. This could involve ensuring that systems related to food service operations, such as POS updates, menu updates, QE menu/inventory updates, or device connectivity, are running smoothly. The role will also require someone who can manage the integration of technology with marketing efforts to ensure a seamless customer experience.
