Responsibilities
- Public Relations & Communications
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to strengthen the Consumer Genius brand across North America and the UK.
- Manage all media relations — including press releases, interviews, media kits, and speaking opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for brand exposure through partnerships, events, and editorial placements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
Craft and maintain a consistent brand narrative across all public touchpoints.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop, manage, and grow Consumer Genius' & Subsidiaries social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other emerging platforms.
- Plan and execute campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
- Monitor social trends and conversations to proactively position the brand.
- Oversee content calendars, copywriting, and creative direction for social content.
Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and report on ROI.
Reputation & Crisis Management
- Monitor online sentiment and manage responses to public inquiries or issues.
Develop strategies for crisis communications when needed.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and executive leadership teams to ensure alignment across messaging and campaigns.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies or consultants when required.
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand goals across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create engaging, high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage daily social media activities using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments promptly.
- Utilize social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback to inform content planning and reputation management.
- Implement SEO best practices and perform keyword research to optimize content visibility across search engines and social platforms.
- Analyze web analytics and social media metrics using Google Analytics and platform insights to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives, public relations efforts, and e-commerce promotions to ensure consistent messaging.
- Oversee paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising or other platforms to maximize reach and ROI.
- Maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to foster positive engagement and expand brand awareness.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design purposes.
- Skilled in video editing software to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics tracking.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies, keyword research techniques, web analytics (Google Analytics), and social listening tools.
- Ability to craft compelling content that aligns with branding guidelines while maintaining a lively tone that motivates audiences.
- Strong relationship management skills for engaging with influencers, partners, and community members effectively.
- Experience in public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation through media outreach and crisis management when necessary.
- Knowledge of Facebook Advertising platform for creating targeted ad campaigns that support marketing objectives.
