Responsibilities

  • Manage all media relations — including press releases, interviews, media kits, and speaking opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for brand exposure through partnerships, events, and editorial placements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Craft and maintain a consistent brand narrative across all public touchpoints.

  • Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, manage, and grow Consumer Genius' & Subsidiaries social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other emerging platforms.
  • Plan and execute campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Monitor social trends and conversations to proactively position the brand.
  • Oversee content calendars, copywriting, and creative direction for social content.
  • Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and report on ROI.

  • Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Monitor online sentiment and manage responses to public inquiries or issues.
  • Develop strategies for crisis communications when needed.

  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, creative, and executive leadership teams to ensure alignment across messaging and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies or consultants when required.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives, public relations efforts, and e-commerce promotions to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising or other platforms to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to foster positive engagement and expand brand awareness.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design purposes.
  • Skilled in video editing software to produce engaging multimedia content.
