**What you’ll be doing**

General support to PR Manager, including but not limited to:

- Nurture existing relationships with media and influencers, managing the players (regional/national)
- Media list development and management
- Execute media relations to secure earned media coverage
- Track for earned media coverage, managing coverage trackers
- Prepare reports
- Draft client updates and meeting notes
- Competitive analysis on client competitors
- Media and influencer monitoring & clipping
- Event logistics and coordination
- Mailer logistics and coordination
- Vendor liaison
- Writing; media & influencer pitches, creative briefs, key messaging, etc.
- Content calendar preparation
- Copywriting for social media posts
- Social listening, posting and responding
- Support the execution of influencer programs

**Basic Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience as a writer (PR Agency experience a definite asset)
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or related degrees
- Experience supporting integrated PR/Social Media campaigns
- Excellent command of written and verbal communication (English and French)
- Experience writing different types of content (social media posts, blog posts, Tweets, press releases, announcements, newsletters, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Social Media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Clubhouse, etc)
- Experience with social media and traditional media monitoring and analysis using software such as Meltwater, Cision, MRP (Media Ratings Point) or similar
- Demonstrates curiosity and enthusiasm to learn and solve problems
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Reliable and accountable and highly organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
