Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Decorate cakes (writing, hand drawn characters and logos, fondant decorations, piping, edible images, etc.
  • Decorate cupcakes (piping, writing, hand drawn characters and logos, fondant decorations, edible images)
  • Make and decorate other treats (cookies, cake pops, etc.)
  • Production of daily bake which can include but not be limited to cupcakes, cakes, cookies, cake pops, brownies and other small confections

. Making of cake batters, Italian buttercream and frostings

.Cleaning end of day

  • Keep work space clean and organized
  • Food handlers certificate

Working Conditions:

  • Standing for most of the day
  • Must be able to lift 20kg ingredient bag

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Baking: 2 years (required)
  • Cake decorating: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (required)
