We are seeking a
Security Architect
focused on
Cybersecurity and Controls
to join our client. We're seeking a proactive and experienced architect to ensure our infrastructure and applications meet the highest security standards, drive continuous improvement, and adapt our security posture to emerging threats and evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll be responsible for securing enterprise through strategic design and collaboration:

  • Design & Standards:
    Participate in
    project design reviews
    to ensure all infrastructure and application designs adhere to
    GOS security guidelines and standards
    .
  • Security Integration:
    Collaborate with Solution Architects and vendors to define
    cloud security requirements
    and ensure the
    secure integration
    of Endpoint, Network, and Cloud solutions.
  • Risk Mitigation & Improvement:
    Analyze current environments to identify
    critical deficiencies
    and recommend effective solutions for improvement. Provide
    advisory services for security risk mitigation
    .
  • Technology Evaluation & Strategy:
    Analyze
    security industry best practices
    and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise. Evaluate
    emerging technologies
    and suggest suitable controls.
  • Architecture & Solutions:
    Partner with Solution Architects to facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware/software technology, product standards, and the design of standard solution configurations.
  • Security by Design:
    Ensure
    information security is built into all architecture solutions
    to address identified risks, meet regulatory/legislative compliance, and leverage security solutions across the organization.
  • Modernization & Maintenance:
    Lead, from an Information Security perspective, the
    upgrade and renewal of critical information environments
    , the
    redesign of critical infrastructure
    as required, and the
    retirement of legacy environments
    .
  • Advisory & Support:
    Prepare
    Security advisories
    on existing technology platforms and provide aid and support to the Security Risk, Governance, Compliance, and Operations functions.
  • Data Stewardship:
    Ensure existing
    data/information assets are identified, stewarded, and leveraged
    across the enterprise, while balancing the need for access against security and performance requirements.
  • Adaptability:
    Be responsive and decisive about adjusting architecture as customer requirements, market conditions, and technology evolve.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar senior cybersecurity role.
  • Deep expertise in
    cybersecurity controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    cloud security principles
    and experience with secure integration patterns for Endpoint, Network, and Cloud solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements and industry trends into actionable security strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Solution Architects, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing and securing complex infrastructure and application designs.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and technology evolution.
