The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering English lessons and guidance to students.
  • Creating a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilizing world class teaching methods.
  • Leading discussions, assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.

Position Details:

Start Date:

  • Immediate upon completion of the recruitment process

Teaching Hours:

  • Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week

Students:

  • Adult professionals over the age of 18
  • Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America

Remuneration:

  • Set base rate of 10 USD per hour

Contract type:

  • You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider

Location:

  • Work from the convenience of your home
Ideal Profile:
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field).
  • You have accredited 120 Hours or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA.
  • You have 6 months teaching or tutoring experience.
  • English First Language Speakers from the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
  • PC specifications Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (8 CPUs) or greater
  • Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
  • Backup power Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching)
  • A stable fibre internet connectionAt a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds
  • PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection
  • Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset highly recommended
  • Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
