What We Expect From You:
- Proven Leadership Experience – At least 2 years in a management role in hospitality.

How do these assets apply to your daily responsibilities?
Responsibilities:
- Strong Operational & Financial Acumen – You will be tasked with monitoring labour, making appropriate and timely staff cuts, watching liquor variances and, contributing ideas on ways to improve sales.
- Exceptional Team Management Skills – Leading a large team entails establishing clear communication channels, effectively delegating tasks, fostering collaboration, providing constructive feedback, managing conflicts, actively problem-solving, setting clear goals, empowering team members, and leading by example to ensure everyone is working towards the same objectives and contributing to the team's success.
- Commitment to Guest Experience – The guest is the reason we have the privilege of keeping our doors open, all decision making must consider their experience.
- Problem-Solving Mindset – In this industry, anything can happen and many times all at once, you must be able to think on your feet and be sure that your solutions are realistically executable by your team.
- Can Wear Many Hats & Multi-Task – To quote Bruce Lee, you must "be like water". No two days are the same in the restaurant industry. One day you are bartending, the next you are an event planner and the next you are a plumber. You must be open to being adaptable and flexible in the face of change.
- Good Communication Skills – Clear, effective, and professional interactions are essential. With such a large team, the "game of telephone" can get out of hand. Clear communication is key to ensure everyone is on the same page. This may translate to communicating new procedures, delivering disciplinary corrections or conducting daily pre-shift meetings.
- Analytical – Strong computer skills; Maitre D experience is an asset. You will need to be comfortable using spreadsheets, our point-of-sale systems, reservation and event management apps, and staff scheduling tools.
- Amiable – You're friendly, supportive and relationship-focused.
- De-escalation Skills – In the hospitality industry, tensions can run high whether it be between staff members or guests. It is your responsibility to always be a fair and neutral party, there to hear issues and come to an objective solution.
