About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Computer & Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our Kelowna location. This role is not entry-level. You must already be comfortable performing repairs independently and interacting confidently with customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who wants stable hours, growth potential, and to be part of a highly knowledgeable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair cell phones, tablets, and computers efficiently and accurately
- Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service
- Clearly explain repair options, risks, and solutions to customers
- Communicate effectively with vendors, teammates, and management
- Manage multiple repairs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- Work independently when required while contributing positively to the team
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience in computer and/or mobile device repair (required)
- Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience
- Ability to confidently diagnose hardware and software issues
Skills & Qualities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proactive, reliable, and punctual
- Comfortable recommending repairs and upselling when appropriate
- Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Certifications in computer, electronics, or mobile device repair
- Wireless industry or technical sales training
- Experience with advanced diagnostics or microsoldering
