**Who we want?**
We are looking for a **CFAA Certified Technician **to join our dynamic team. You will be tasked with providing top tier service during the inspection, testing and maintenance of all life safety systems including Fire Extinguishers, Sprinkler Systems, Emergency Lights and Fire Alarm systems that our clients have come to expect from IFP. You will have the support of a tight knit and experienced team dedicated to providing opportunities for growth. We are looking for like-minded individuals with a thirst for knowledge.
Fire Alarm Technicians are fully CFAA certified individuals who are **motivated, organized and customer focused **individuals willing to contribute their knowledge and expertise in the area of inspections, service, maintenance and installation of fire alarm and life safety systems.
In this challenging and rewarding role you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Perform monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections as required
- Service work and repairs on fire alarm systems
- Installation, verification and programming of systems
- Required to be on the after-hours on call rotation
**What makes you valuable?**
- Must be registered with CFAA for 2 years and above
- 2 or more years of experience in the fire alarm industry
- Excellent troubleshooting and possess a high level of electronic skills
- Knowledgeable on applicable codes and standards
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient in computer & mobile device use
- Self-motivated with focus on customer care
- Willing to contribute to a positive team environment
- Possess effective verbal & written communication skills
