Our Halifax-based recruitment team is working with a successful injury law firm, looking to welcome a dynamic Paralegal to their team. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday), based out of their Dartmouth office. No evenings or weekends.

This position will manage files from client interactions, medical reviews, and will also draft court materials. Experience in legal research and drafting documents is essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who has previous legal industry/civil litigation experience and brings a high level of energy to their work. Someone who is looking for a fun, exciting, and challenging new role will be a great fit for this position

Additional Requirements:

  • 2+ years of paralegal/law clerk experience, preferably in personal injury
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interest in working in a collaborative team environment at an office 5 days a week
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and procedures
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal correspondence and documents
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive matters
