About Us

Chooza Foods is a Canadian start-up bringing bold, East African–inspired hot sauces to the market. We're expanding and looking for a motivated Food Service & B2B Sales Specialist to help us grow our presence in foodservice and retail channels.

Role Overview

This casual position offers flexible hours that you can schedule at your convenience (during regular business hours). You will focus on generating leads, meeting potential clients, and securing new accounts in both foodservice and retail sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through store visits, outreach, and networking.
  • Follow up with prospects via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Provide samples, demos, and product information to potential clients.
  • Build relationships and secure accounts with:
  • Restaurants, caterers, butcher shops, delis
  • Specialty and ethnic retailers
  • Food manufacturers, distributors, cafés, hotels, and more
  • Track outreach and report progress as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in foodservice, retail, or B2B food sales in Canada is mandatory. (required)
  • Existing industry contacts (required).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

  • $18/hour
  • 10% commission on all sales/accounts you generate
  • 5–15 hours/week, flexible scheduling

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
