Summary
As the ideal candidate you are a creative thinker with a colourful and playful approach to design. You have expert Illustrator and Photoshop abilities, and you love learning new skills. You're efficient and flexible and easily adapt to changing priorities in this fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design for a variety of projects including logos, packaging, marketing assets, and a variety of other 2D design projects
- Stay current on market and consumer trends in the Toy Industry
- Participate in building new proprietary brands and products that reflect current trends in toys and fashion.
- Design new products within manufacturing and budgetary constraints
Requirements:
- Strong Photoshop and Illustrator Skills
- Logo Design and Packaging Design experience
- Illustration skills considered a strong asset
- 3d Modelling skills considered a strong asset
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and/or 5+ years work experience as a graphic designer in a professional environment.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate concepts and ideas verbally as well as through prototypes and sketches
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
Not required but helpful:
- Photography Skills
- Videography Skills
- Experience with Social Media and Marketing
- Previous experience designing for children's products
