Job Description:

Wealth National Office is looking for a highly organized and creative Event Planner to join the Wealth Event team. In this role, you'll plan and execute a variety of regional events that enhance client relationships and support employee engagement across the business. You'll bring events to life that reflect the Wealth brand, values, and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. This role acts as a consultant to the business on all aspects of event planning in support of the business strategy.

Event Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute regional client and employee events which could include appreciation events, client acquisition events, educational sessions, roadshows, town halls and other stakeholder events and programs.
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end: venue selection, vendor management, contracting, speaker booking, budgets, and on-site execution.
  • Develop event communications including invitations, attendee communications, thank you, Know Before you Go information and feedback surveys.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure event objectives align with business priorities.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Evaluate event success through feedback, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of brand standards, compliance requirements, and internal processes.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional event planning experience, ideally in a corporate or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of the banking industry or experience working within a bank or financial institution.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in developing event strategies and confidently presenting recommendations to senior leadership and executives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region and occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.
