POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative
to join our team. This role is the front line of our business-supporting walk-in customers, handling phone and email inquires on our entire product line up, processing orders, and providing product knowledge and solutions for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting customer by phone and in person with product selection, pricing and availability
  • Process orders, quotes, returns and credits accurately and efficiently
  • Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting for equipment and parts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers
  • Coordinate with the shipper/receivers to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up on orders, open quotes and backorders
  • Promote current specials, new products and value-added services
  • Maintain a clean, organized counter and showroom area

Qualifications

  • HVAC/Plumbing industry experience (Distribution, Rep Agency, Manufactured Rep, Technician)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Basic understanding of HVAC/Hydronic, parts and terminology
  • Proficiency with computers and order entry
  • Sales-oriented mindset with attention to detail
