About us:
West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation (WCK) is a charity that supports families navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders with small actions that make a big impact every day. Our families need food, connection, resources, and mental health support. We help families feel held and heard through family-led programming that eases the burden.
About City Camp:
City Camp is the only day camp in B.C. where kids aged 5-12 / siblings of kids with cancer and blood disorders can join in on all the magic of camp while being able to sleep in their own bed at night. Hosted in close proximity to the hospital and with a medical team on-site, kids on treatment never have to miss out on the camp experience.
Position in a nutshell:
Exceptional medical staff are essential to City Camp's success. The medical team works closely with WCK staff and volunteers to create a safe and fun camp experience, where kids can play and learn new skills in a medically supervised environment.

You are confident and comfortable managing complex medical needs outside of a hospital setting. You are a problem solver who can quickly adapt to new or unexpected situations. You can communicate and give directions to others in a direct and warm manner. Among your Nurse superpowers, you are a master of fun, a creator of joy, and a child at heart. In this unconventional nursing environment, you are willing to step up to help wherever needed.
