**About us**:
West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation (WCK) is a charity that supports families with small actions that make a big impact every day. Our families need food, connection, resources, and mental health support while navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders. We help families feel supported and heard through family-led programming that eases the burden.
**About City Camp**:
City Camp is the only day camp in B.C. where kids aged 5-12 and siblings of kids with cancer and blood disorders can join in on all the magic of camp while being able to sleep in their own bed at night. Hosted in close proximity to the hospital and with a medical team on-site, kids on treatment never have to miss out on the camp experience.
**Position in a nutshell**:
The Behaviour Lead is responsible for supporting the behavioural needs of campers and managing two behaviour support staff. The Behaviour Lead assesses campers’ needs, implements strategies to support positive engagement, and adapts creative solutions for camper success. They advise wider team members on implementing safe, fun, and inclusive programming. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build their experience in working with children with complex behavioural needs and develop skills in managing/supervising others in a team environment.
