Proven Mining Solutions Inc. is a small, owner-operated mining support contractor building a dependable, professional team to provide reliable heavy equipment maintenance services to major oil sands clients.

We are growing carefully and deliberately and are looking to add experienced, senior-level technicians who take pride in their work and how they represent the companies they work with.

Positions Available

1. Subcontractor – Owner-Operator (Service Truck Required)

Provide your own fully equipped service truck

Field maintenance and breakdown support on large off-road mining equipment

Work performed in an active mine environment

Proven Mining Solutions partnership decals required on service truck

  1. Subcontractor – Cross-Shift Technician (Company Truck Provided)

    Operate a Proven Mining Solutions service truck

    Cross-shift coverage supporting site operations

    Rotating day and night shifts

    Potential opportunity to transition into an employee position

    Work Location

    Syncrude Base Mine – Fort McMurray, Alberta

    Rotation & Schedule

    14 days on (days) / 14 days off

    14 days on (nights) / 14 days off

    Shifts rotate between days and nights

    Overtime is generally available

Mandatory Requirements

Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (required)

Minimum 10 years mining experience (oil sands or comparable operations)

Extensive experience on large off-road mining equipment

Strong diagnostic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills

Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts

Ability to work independently and professionally

Successful completion of a full 12-panel lab drug & alcohol test

Required safety tickets in good standing (site-specific)

Additional Information

Owner-operators are responsible for their own service truck maintenance and insurance

Fuel is supplied while working on site

Project-based work with strong potential for extension

Compensation and invoicing details discussed during screening
