Are you a Heavy Equipment Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're recruiting a Heavy Equipment Technician in Fort McMurray - Syncrude.

In this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on light plants, Generators, Welders, Skid steer and other support equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of oil sands mine site experience
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician
- High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) required
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience and/or exposure to Generators, Light Plant, Welder, Skid steer and Diesel Engines
- Experience and/or exposure to SAP is considered an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform planned preventative maintenance activities and repairs on Heavy Mobile Mining Equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment deficiencies
- Participate in developing maintenance procedures and instructions

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of a Syncrude location in Fort McMurray
- The shift schedule is 3 days 3 nights and 6 off - 12 hour shifts
- You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor.
