Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Red Seal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and attention to detail are essential. The Red Seal Mechanic will play a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Perform repairs, replacements, we do not do engine replacement or Transmissions
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each service performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in training junior technicians on proper repair techniques and safety procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a mechanic with a valid Red Seal certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.
  • Prior experience working with industrial machinery or heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and best practices in maintenance work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
