This role focuses on executing workforce planning strategies and delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience in partnership with senior leaders across the country. You will oversee key projects from planning through implementation, manage reporting on hiring and pipeline activity, and provide tools and resources that support leaders throughout the recruitment and onboarding journey.

  • Develop and execute workforce plans aligned with business growth targets and advisor distribution strategies.
  • Support and guide leaders nationwide through the advisor offer and onboarding process, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with recruitment, finance, and regional leadership to forecast advisor hiring needs and optimize headcount planning.
  • Design and manage a seamless onboarding experience tailored to financial advisors, ensuring regulatory compliance, cultural integration, and early productivity.
  • Monitor talent pipeline, onboarding metrics and advisor ramp-up performance to continuously improve processes.
  • Manage reporting related to new hire activity and advisor pipeline tracking, providing insights to inform workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to align onboarding content with advisor success drivers.
  • Collaborate with the creation and maintenance of leader-facing tools and resources that support the advisor recruitment and onboarding journey.
  • Provide support on program-related agreements and advisor compensation inquiries, working closely with internal partners to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives, alignment and builds effective relationships in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects/programs and ensures alignment to overall enterprise and group goals.
  • Drives cross business/group coordination and logistical support for the implementation of change.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

*Qualifications:*

  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with advisor licensing, compliance, and regulatory onboarding requirements is a strong asset
  • Broad knowledge of Bank products, services, and organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of the wealth management and/or the financial industry
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salary:
$56, $103,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
