We're looking for a passionate, skilled, and team-driven Sous Chef to join the Belli Pizza crew on Commercial Drive. If you love food, care deeply about consistency and kitchen culture, and thrive in a collaborative, high-standards environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a key leader on the Belli team, you'll help shape and uphold the systems, standards, and culture that define our kitchen. We're building something special, and we want people who take pride in their craft and are excited to help deliver some of Vancouver's best pizza.

About Us

Belli Pizza is a hospitality-driven pizzeria using new-school techniques to execute classic New York pies. We focus on quality, creativity, teamwork, and professionalism — all while keeping the environment fun, supportive, and growth-oriented. The menu is a simple but highly detailed offering of classic pizza flavours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations: run service, maintain quality, place orders, train staff, delegate tasks etc
  • Oversee mise en place and contribute to the production of pizzas and other dishes to Belli standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example and help nurture a positive, professional, and high-performing kitchen culture.
  • Ensure proper product rotation, prep organization, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support and coach cooks, maintaining open communication with the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Previous pizza experience required
  • Fundamental culinary knowledge, technique and efficiency
  • 1 year experience in a kitchen management position placing orders, writing prep lists, conducting inventory etc.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing or supervising kitchen teams.
  • Very Strong attention to detail and commitment to high culinary standards.
  • Solid understanding of food safety practices and kitchen organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible availability — weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
