The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Quick Lane Service Advisor for our Airdrie, AB location.

In the position of Quick Lane Service Advisor, reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for being the critical link between our customers and shop, listening to customer concerns, assessing their needs as well as keeping them informed on the progress of their repair. If you have no experience and are willing to learn, we will provide training

You will be accountable for:

  • Greeting customers and offering excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicles
  • Answering phone calls and assisting walk-up customers
  • Determining and diagnosing car issues based on customer description and vehicle condition
  • Translating customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
  • Ordering necessary parts from suppliers and double-check that they are delivered to technicians
  • Ensuring that automotive work provided to customers meets company quality standards
  • Invoice and collecting payment from customers for services rendered
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding services
  • Maintaining customer records and entering data into computer database
  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • DMS experience, specifically PBS is considered an asset
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skills and time management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excels at being part of a team
  • Strong computer skills
  • Punctual and reliable
