Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet established quality standards. This position supports product integrity, shopfloor quality, and contributes to overall customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming parts and finished goods for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Accurately document inspection results, including measurements, defects, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor production processes to verify adherence to quality protocols.
  • Recommend and support corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce non-conformance.
  • Apply problem-solving skills and generate daily quality reports to communicate issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and implement improvements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection environment.
  • Participate in internal audits and support external audit preparation.
  • Assist in training new team members on inspection procedures and quality standards.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Quality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using inspection equipment.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, especially in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
