Business Overview:
At Pride Bodies Ltd., we offer custom design and fabrication of utility, service, construction and other custom truck bodies.

Quality Inspector Overview:

- The Quality Inspector will ensure compliance with Wabtec’s quality standards while working efficiently and effectively within a lean environment. Our goal is to provide our customers with a reliable, quality product.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Review product specifications and work instructions to ensure they are properly communicated to production;
- Review customer specs and engineering drawings to ensure final product conforms to customer specifications;
- Final inspection of vehicles to ensure the parts meet all standards of quality and functionality;
- Perform visual inspections, mechanical and functional verification of vehicle packages to ensure compliance to internal and customer standards;
- Collect and record accurate data regarding defects;
- Provide guidance to production on corrective action for defects;
- Provide description or justification for defective material;
- Document and communicate results to managers, supervisors and production;
- Support Company Health and Safety policies.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required;
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Previous vehicle inspection or auditing experience;
- Good mechanical skills and ability to use standard hand tools;
- Able to read prints, schematics and manuals;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to co-ordinate, prioritize and multitask;
- Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment;
- Ability to take initiative and recognize needs;
- Computer skills in Excel and Word;
- Possess or be willing to obtain a DZ license for the shuttling and movement of trucks.
