The opportunity
Worldline is on a mission to shape 'the most customer focused payments experience'. This role plays a key part in that mission, reporting to the Boarding & Underwriting Manager.
The main role of the Boarding Specialist is to support the customer onboarding experience by managing the account from agreement to activation, upholding acquirer and regulatory requirements to the highest standards. Giving our customers a world-class boarding experience is the goal, so you're obsessed with the details and know how to hustle.
This is a critical role to the integrity of our company and one that we hold in the highest regard. The ability to stay focused on the details and honor our regulatory and acquirer requirements in this complex, every-changing world is what makes our Boarding Specialists among the best in the industry.
Responsibilities include: Know Your Customer screening, due diligence screening, bank account validation, and technical onboarding of the customer account.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the onboarding of new customers by effectively processing and managing real time onboarding including KYC, due diligence, and bank account validation.
- Work in collaboration with credit risk team to effectively process and manage real time low risk decisions through risk systems while justifying all recommendations.
- Demonstrate attention to detail by configuring new customer accounts into maintenance platforms, always upholding the highest level of quality that we are known for.
- Provide daily support to the sales and customer experience teams with: EFT/Sage account review, KYC and due diligence requirements, bank account validation, and general onboarding questions.
- Demonstrate your curiosity by keeping up to date with emerging trends related to onboarding risk to ensure business strategies are aligned with the operational environment.
- You take responsibility for performing your best by setting goals, tracking progress and working to achieve them. Where goals need to be adjusted, you work with the Boarding & Underwriting Manager to ensure these adjusted goals support our team and company goals.
- You actively participate in a feedback culture, knowing that open communication is essential to building a high-performance team.
