Gluer Operator (Folder/Gluer Machine Operator)

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shifts: Afternoon or Night Shift

Pay: Depends upon experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Gluer Operator to join our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folder/gluer machinery to ensure high-quality production output.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor folder/gluer machines according to job specifications.
  • Load materials and complete make-ready tasks (feeder, prefold, glue system, delivery, stacker, pack station).
  • Ensure consistent product quality and adjust settings as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to maintain production efficiency.
  • Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Train and support team members when required.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating folder/gluer machines (Bobst or Brausse preferred), or willingness to be trained.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must have safety shoes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Good vision and strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
