Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative, Power Sales role will take responsibility for managing and growing assigned accounts. The representative works directly with external sales and customers to provide Vertiv proposals, follow up on prospect requests, and achieve additional sales. The role is responsible for promoting and selling Vertiv's current AC power offerings to customers by building relationships and generating new business.

The inside sales position offers a generous commission structure and significant company exposure, offering potential for many career growth opportunities at Vertiv.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established revenue target for assigned accounts through follow-up
  • Create and track opportunities and quotes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Responsible for updating opportunities and customer information in CRM tool, including wins/losses/cancellations
  • Obtain customer orders and enter them correctly for billing
  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer communications (calls and emails) and escalate to others for technical support if needed
  • Increase customer satisfaction by serving as customer advocate to interact with various internal departments
  • Establish working knowledge of related product lines, new and existing, by completing company training and on-the-job experience
  • Provide pre and post-sale technical support between Vertiv and customers
  • Work closely with Vertiv field sales teams on shared opportunities; Identify opportunities as they arise
  • Review or generate optimized Vertiv solution configurations to meet specific application requirements
  • Configure, price, and quote solutions to customers
  • Provide submittal drawings for approval
  • Provide technical sales support to customers through training and presentations
  • Serve as escalation point for customers on pre and post-sale technical issues
  • Provide application engineering support via phone, email, and web
  • Willingness to adapt to other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering degree (preferred) or equivalent
  • 3-5 years technical sales experience in the industry
  • Strong phone/video presence and experience with multiple daily interactions
  • Proficiency in enterprise productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual French/English required
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Periods of office/computer work

Travel Required:

  • Occasional travel to customers or for company training

Responsabilités:

  • Atteindre l'objectif de revenus établi pour les comptes assignés grâce au suivi.
  • Créer et suivre les opportunités et devis dans l'outil de gestion de la relation client (CRM).
  • Responsable de la mise à jour des opportunités et des informations clients dans l'outil CRM, y compris les gains/pertes/annulations.
  • Obtenir les commandes clients et les saisir correctement pour la facturation.
  • Assurer les communications clients entrantes et sortantes (appels et courriels) et faire remonter aux autres pour le support technique si nécessaire.
  • Augmenter la satisfaction client en servant d'avocat du client pour interagir avec divers départements internes au nom du client.
  • Établir une connaissance pratique des gammes de produits connexes, nouvelles et existantes, en complétant la formation de l'entreprise et l'expérience en cours d'emploi.
  • Fournir un support technique pré et post-vente entre Vertiv et les clients.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes de vente terrain Vertiv sur les opportunités partagées; Identifier les opportunités au fur et à mesure qu'elles se présentent.
  • Examiner ou générer des configurations de solutions Vertiv optimisées pour répondre aux exigences spécifiques des applications.
  • Configurer, établir les prix et faire des devis de solutions aux clients.
  • Fournir des dessins de soumission pour approbation.
  • Fournir un support technique aux ventes aux clients par le biais de formations et de présentations.
  • Servir de point d'escalade pour les clients sur les questions techniques pré et post-vente.
  • Offrir un support d'ingénierie d'applications par téléphone, courriel et web.

Qualifications:

  • Diplôme en génie électrique (préféré) ou equivalent
  • 3-5 ans d'expérience en ventes techniques dans l'industrie
  • Forte présence au téléphone/vidéo et expérience dans les interactions multiples par jour
  • Maîtrise des outils de productivité d'entreprise et de présentation web
  • Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais obligatoire
  • Fortes compétences d'écoute et de presentation
  • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches, prioriser et gérer efficacement le temps
