Position Overview
The
Coordinator, Stakeholder Engagement
plays a vital role in strengthening relationships with our Board, partners, and key stakeholders. This position supports the President & CEO and other management in enhancing engagement activities, coordinates administrative and communication efforts, and ensures our stakeholders feel informed, connected, and empowered to contribute to our shared vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach between healthcare providers, hospital leadership, and Foundation staff.
- Maintain a master list of current and prospective stakeholders, coordinate engagement touchpoints.
- Organize stakeholder meetings and follow-up actions; manage related records and documentation.
- Support oversight and reporting for donor-funded hospital projects and internal Foundation initiatives.
- Helps triage requests for grants from specified funds.
- Help coordinate and deliver presentations to target groups.
- Assist with the planning and execution of key cultivation and engagement activities.
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Gather feedback and identify opportunities to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Support good governance activities in collaboration with senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, community engagement, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in stakeholder relations, engagement, or partnership coordination.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across diverse groups.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with digital engagement tools, databases, and event management platforms.
Preferred Assets
- Experience working within the nonprofit, healthcare, or public sectors.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
