Your Key Responsibilities as a Roofing Project Manager:

Project Planning & Estimating:

• Understand project scope, prepare detailed takeoffs, and develop accurate estimates for diverse roofing systems (residential and commercial).
• Attend pre-tender site meetings and thoroughly review specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations.

Project Execution & Management:

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay on track.
• Write up clear and concise work orders; prepare material order sheets and coordinate procurement.
• Schedule and deploy roofing crews, providing clear direction and details for project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits and attend construction meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure foreman and crews adhere strictly to project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

• Serve as the primary liaison with building owners, consultants, general contractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with current clients to ensure full satisfaction and identify further opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and consultants throughout the project, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare site condition reports as needed.
• Submit all required project documentation, shop drawings, and product data sheets.
• Manage and submit RFIs and Change Orders as required.

Business Development:

• Actively develop new client relationships and identify new business opportunities to achieve company targets.
• Generate leads for new projects through various sectors.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in the roofing industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience as a Roofing Project Manager or leading roofing projects/crews.

Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with various types of roofing systems (residential and commercial).
• Proven ability to accurately read, interpret, and work with blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong proficiency in estimating all different roofing systems.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and other relevant software (e.g., project management or estimating software).
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with all stakeholders.
• Ability to attend and professionally represent Eileen Roofing at site meetings.
• Required Language: English.

Licence/Certification:

• Valid Working at Heights Certificate.
• WHMIS Certification.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
• Schedule: Primarily day shift, Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required as needed to meet project deadlines and client needs.
• Work Location: In person (Toronto, ON office and various project sites).

Pay: $59,453.30-$128,625.20 per year
