Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality meat products while maintaining exceptional standards in food handling and customer service.

Duties

  • Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
  • Ensure all meat products are packaged properly for display and sale.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
  • Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food production needs.

Skills

  • Proficient in meat cutting techniques with strong knife skills.
  • Experience in food production and preparation within the food industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of culinary practices.
