The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be able to perform a variety of accounting tasks with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding and entering invoices on a timely basis
  • Preparing cheque runs
  • Weekly cash management
  • Responding to vendor and internal enquiries regarding variances/ outstanding payments
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial data.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes relating to billing and accounts payable

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
