Job Description
Join our reputable and dynamic client as a Senior Accountant. We're seeking a talented and motivated CPA professional to contribute to our clients' growing team in Moncton, NB. This is a permanent opportunity, ideal for a committed, client-focused individual with a passion for success.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Prepare accounting/tax engagements for clients
- Personal & corporate tax returns
- Compilation
- Review & audit engagements
- Participate in client meetings, maintaining open dialogue with clients to understand their needs and foster long-term relationships
- Conduct various CRA filings for clients as needed
- Assist in training for students and new hires
- Remain current with pertinent accounting standards and legislation
Skills & Attributes for Success:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation recently completed, or currently being pursued
- 2 – 5+ years' experience in accounting with prior review/audit engagement experience being a definite asset
- Superior attention to detail with proven program management skills
- Positive and professional interpersonal skills with articulate and adaptable verbal and written communication skills
- Dedicate work ethic with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Client-focused approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
