Summary

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in the Quarry Park location. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring efficient handling of equipment to support our recycling and energy recovery mission.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery including a 244 loader, zoom boom, manlift and forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute construction and recycling projects effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
  • Perform site preparation tasks including grading and paving as required.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during operations.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating small equipment such as 244 loader, zoom boom, manlift and forklift
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
