About Us:

GT Property Maintenance Ltd. is a locally owned and operated snow removal and sanding company based in Lloydminster, specializing in commercial snow management. Our services include plowing, sanding, hauling, and site clearing using a range of equipment from loaders and excavators to dump trucks and sanders. We take pride in dependable service, safety, and teamwork, and we're looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our crew this winter season.

Position: Equipment Operator

Location: Lloydminster, Alberta

Employment Type: Full-time / Seasonal (with potential for year-round work in landscaping season)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and sanders for snow removal and hauling.
  • Safely and efficiently remove snow from commercial sites.
  • Apply sand and salt mixtures as directed to ensure safe driving and walking surfaces.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Use small hand tools (shovels, blowers, etc.) as needed for cleanup and detail work.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, during snow events.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 MELT driver's licence (required).
  • Clean driver's abstract (must be provided).
  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in winter conditions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in variable weather conditions.
