Job Summary:

Directs the development of market requirements for our LPO and NPO Datacenter products (DirectEdge), including go-to market (GTM), product strategy definition and development priorities, requirements analysis, and pricing.

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue and market share ownership. Drive GTM Strategy and Sales teams to maximize Semtech's share for our LPO/NPO portfolio.
  • Drive LPO/NPO Market Strategy – prioritize opportunities/challenges, develop strategies to overcome or take advantage of, develop/drive action plans to fulfill.
  • Interprets, communicates, and targets customer feedback and development strategy to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance market share and overall business return.
  • Develops, manages and owns long term product roadmaps for LPO/NPO to deliver a compelling return on investment for the company.
  • Monitors and steers the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, competitor status and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
  • Ownership of NPI programs as/when needed to advance the business.
  • Oversees internal and external resources for market research, monitors competitive activity, and translates this into customer needs.
  • Supports on any IP or export compliance issues related to Datacenter products.
  • Provide leadership to manage a team of PLMs to drive successful business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor engineering
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, team-work, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in markets requiring signal integrity expertise.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a Marketing / Product Line Manager role.
  • 5+ years experience with Datacom / Datacenter / AI connectivity products
