PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Junior Marketing Team Lead will guide digital marketing associates in designing, executing, and optimizing campaigns that support client objectives and internal brand growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a solid understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have the ability to mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

WAGE: $18.00 per hour

HOURS OF WORK: 35/week

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: January 5th – March 27th, 2026

LOCATION: Hybrid

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support a team of Digital Marketing Associates in executing multichannel digital campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and email.

  • Manage project timelines and delegate tasks to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and internal standards.

  • Collaborate with small to medium-sized business clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Oversee content creation, SEO efforts, and ad performance, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and target audience.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and professional growth.

  • Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Semrush, and adjust strategies to optimize results.

  • Facilitate team meetings and ensure smooth communication across departments, including with Project Managers.

  • Stay current on digital marketing trends and emerging tools to keep campaigns innovative and effective.

  • Attend daily standup meetings with team members.

  • Complete self-directed online courses.

  • Participate in soft skills workshops.

  • Other duties as required.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • The Junior Marketing Team Lead will report to the Marketing Manager

  • Lead and provide guidance to Digital Marketing Associates.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Remote with regular meetings held through Microsoft Teams.

  • Mandatory attendance is required for technical and soft skills workshops.

  • Must be able to work remotely with a stable internet connection

  • Attend occasional in-person meetings or team events when requested.

  • Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate team priorities or client deadlines

PROGRAMS / SOFTWARE USED:

Semrush, Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, Google My Business, Microsoft Office Suite, and Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership capacity.

  • Must respect and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Note: No prior leadership experience is required, but the following would be considered an asset:

  • Knowledge of paid and organic marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, content creation, and marketing analytics.

  • Background or education in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing tools listed above.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRMENTS:
